Dee Beasnael is a Tchadian-American actor based in Brooklyn.
Her work lives at the crossroads of languages, cultures, and generations. Fluent in French, Spanish, Ngambaye, and English, she brings a globally attuned curiosity and a layered authenticity to every role she inhabits.
Known for her range and precision, Dee toured internationally as Nina Simone in Silence and Fear, with Compagnie Lieux Dits earning recognition as Best Actress Runner-Up. She is a proud member of 7 Daughters of Eve Thtr. & Perf. Co. and Elevator Repair Service.
On screen, she has appeared in The Good Half, directed by Robert Schwartzman, Before The World Set On Fire, and The Falling World. Her voice work includes Caillou, Kyle’s Wild World, and Opal Watson: Private Eye.
